Nov: Fall Foliage in Nacogdoches County

Fall in Nacogdoches County by Bruce Partain
Autumn may come a bit later in the Forest Trail, but the kaleidoscope of color it brings is well worth the wait.

In Nacogdoches County, deep reds and brilliant golds are already painting the landscape, contrasting with the evergreen pines for a impressive autumn display that will continue through the month of November.

The Nacogdoches CVB has shared a driving map to guide travelers along the numerous highways in the Forest Trail.

See the map below and visit Nacogdoches via U.S. Hwy 59, State Hwy 21 and State Hwy 7.

Nov 9: Stephen Lang in Beyond Glory

Downtown Texarkana

Stephen Lang Portrays War Heroes' Lives
Nov 9th at 7:30PM - Perot Theatre

Stephen Lang, award winning playwright, stage and screen star, presents the stories of eight veterans from World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, rendering first hand accounts of valor, which resulted in the nation's highest military award, the Medal of Honor. The oral histories of these eight men are brought to life through Lang's commanding performance, with a backdrop of video screens that occasionally evoke the turmoil of combat. Lang subtly moves through each man's story with a slight alteration of posture and vocal coloring to suggest a new personality.
