Nov 22: Local Author Book Signing, Lufkin

Texas Forestry Museum

ANNUAL "CHRISTMAS AT THE COMPANY STORE"
The Texas Forestry Museum will host a book signing during it's annual "Christmas at the Company Store" on Friday, November 22 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.


Local authors Winnie Graham and Jeanie Freeman-Harper will be available at 1:00 pm to sign copies of their books.
Winnie Graham's new book, Under the Blackgum Tree is a fascinating history of the East Texas Piney Woods and the settlers who loved them. Winnie is a native, sixth-generation Texan with a long family lineage in the East Texas Piney Woods.

Jeanie Freeman-Harper's books, Jesse McCann: The Journey and A Mist in the Pines: Jesse's Quest, are fictional stories set in an early East Texas sawmill town. In addition to the book signings, all museum visitors will receive a 10% discount on merchandise in the Company Store gift shop. Texas Forestry Museum Society members and museum volunteers will receive additional savings. Visitors who make purchases from the gift shop will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket loaded with goodies! Punch, wassail and refreshments will be served all day.


The Texas Forestry Museum is a non- profit organization located at 1905 Atkinson Dr. in Lufkin.
